Inspired by our host's warm hospitality, Rudy's was designed with comfort in mind to provide visitors a unique, comfortable and memorable experience.
Our rooms are spacious, our rates are well priced and we pride ourselves on service excellence. Our hosts know that travelling can be exhausting, and will do their best to make your stay easy and satisfying. Meyerton is home to the Midvaal Raceway motor Track. Situated in the local municipality of Midvaal and the district municipality of Sedibeng, it was established in 1891 and was named after JP Meyer, a field cornet and member of the Transvaal Volksraad.
Meyerton sprung to life when gold was found along the banks of the Klip River, a tributary of the Vaal. The town was officially proclaimed in 1891. Meyerton is home to Johan van Rooyen, a 9-year-old certified snake catcher. He completed a one-day course at African Reptiles and Venom in Diepsloot.
Meyerton situated in Midvaal has a variety of adventure, marine and agricultural tourism with beautiful river systems, nature reserves, game parks, outdoors and cultural activities, Wedding and Event Venues, Restaurants and Accommodation establishments. Midvaal has re-invented itself as a tourism destination of choice where people live, work, and play.
